<p>I've read some of the essays in the Crimson "50 Successful Essays" and they all seem to be quite short in length (max 2 pages). Is this the right length? Or should I write more? How many words should I try to write?</p>
<p>I’ve heard that one page single spaced (or two double spaced I guess…)is what they want so that is what I aimed for. Mine is about 700 words but I’ve still got a lot of editing etc to do.</p>
<p>A page or a bit more is usually what I’ve seen. I guess it depends if you have a lot to write about but I wouldn’t go to 2 pages or more. The essays lose alot of their excitement and tend to get dry the longer it drags on.</p>
