Right path for senior year and getting into a top college? Senior struggles!

Please feel free to suggest, advise, or post your own... :)

Hi! I go to a math and science oriented residential school. I have a 3.96 GPA as of now and as a junior I've taken AP Bio, AP Cal I and II, Spanish II, AP Physics C (the class that brought my 4.0 down), Composition I and II (my school runs on a college concurrent credit system so none of these are actually AP classes, but they're equivalents).
The past summer I took U.S. history as a college course and did research for my science fair project. This summer I am doing more research for my science fair project which I have worked on for four years now.
I plan on taking Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, AP Stats, Spanish IV, AP Chem, Analytical Chem, and either Discrete Math or Mandarin my first semester of senior year. What do you think?? :-/
And I plan on volunteering every week at the local hospital by my school. And I will be a student mentor and have a school leadership position (both of which will count as volunteer hours and job experience).
I have one many science fair awards (regional and state), math awards (regional), play violin (9 years now), and am involved in a few clubs and will be quiz bowl captain this year (which I have been two years previously).
Am I on the right path??? What more should I do?? I'm working on my test scores too. Please advise! :D Thanks.

What exactly are your test scores? You’re doing exceptionally well keep it up! Just need to work on the SAT/ACT and if your scores are low study for the next exam date. Good luck.

Thank you! Well, sadly I’m struggling with my test scores. My ACT is a flat 30 with a 10 on writing, and my SAT is a 1800.
If you or anyone has suggestions on raising my scores, I’d be grateful haha

It really depends on your college of choice. If you’re going to university, you will need to do better on your SAT and ACT as well as writing. Plus, try to figure out your learning style, it will really help learning some of the stuff you need to learn.

You have done a lot of great things although college will chose a person with more challenge or talent. Remember, you’re going up against some of the asian which happens to have good grades and harder classes. Do something that will make you stand out a little more.

What colleges are you looking at? Do you have a safety school?

Most universities aren’t particularly selective.

I’m looking toward some of the top schools–Ivy Leagues, Stanford, Duke, UChicago, etc.
My safety school is a state school.
I know my scores are lacking, so I’m hoping studying this summer will help. @halcyonheather

Any suggestions on what I can do to stand out? I’ve thought a lot about that but can’t really think of anything @XxSkizzyxX‌

Do something that not a lot of people would usually do. Something that kinda involve risk taking and shows that you’re independent and that you can make your own choices. An example would be a scholarship, volunteer work, etc.

There are many ways to stand out although you will have to ask or look up for more information.

Alright, thanks @XxSkizzyxX‌ I’ll look into it!
