<p>...i was wondering if anyone could help me out and just make sure i'm in the right direction!
I'm a white jewish girl from a competitive public school</p>

<p>(i'm a junior) but my list so far is
Bates (top choice)
Bard (i have legacy)
Oberlin
Franklin and Marshall
Bowdoin
Hamilton
Uni of Richmond
Skidmore
Conn Coll
Vassar</p>

<p>Courses:
9th grade - Bio Honors, English Honors, Global 9 (didn't have honors choice), Math B1 Honors, Latin 9, Mass Media
10th grade - Chemistry Honors, in 10th grade i got into this highly selective school within a school for social studies and english (everything is discussion based and mixed with 10, 11 and 12th graders), latin 10, math b2-pre clac Honors
11th grade- AP american history, AP physics B, AP english, calc Honors, latin 11, slect singers, peer leadership
12th grade - AP econ, AP latin, AP english 12, AP stat, STAGES (which is this 3 period program where the students write and direct their own show)</p>

<p>GPA unweighted (predicted by end of senior year) 91.5ish</p>

<p>My sats don't match my grades so that is why a majority of my list are SAT optional but it's RC 600, Math 620 and writing 610 (it's the one thing holding me back)</p>

<p>Extra circulars
Freshman year - writer for my school paper, in the thespian show, aids awareness club, associate for the OP-ED section of my school paper.
Sophomore year - full time baby sitter, active member of junior player (helping out with sets), Peer Aids educator (we go to the middle school and 5th graders and teach them about safe sex!), associate editor of the features' section of my school paper.
Junior year - Features editor of my school paper, Peer Leader (i teach freshmen every wednesday about how high school works), stared in a school show and still helped with junior players, peer aids educator, full time babysitter)
Senior Year - Editor-in-Chief of my school paper, peer leader, aids educator, junior player (probably be a thespian at the end of the year) and the rest is unconfirmed</p>

<p>Summers
freshman year - the last summer at an Arts Camp (i was there for 6 years!)
Sophomore year - took classes at Pratt
Junior year - I am interning 3 days a week at a PR firm in NYC and then hopefully interning two days at my local paper.</p>

<p>If you could give me feedback that would be great!</p>

<p>ooppps i forgot to add that i need 100% aid for schools so it’s limiting a lot of schools who don’t meet 100% or where i can’t get merit</p>

<p>your stats are great & the only major thing holding you back is your SAT score. definitely retake it & try taking the ACT once (if you do badly then don’t send it). if you raise your scores you’re pretty much into these schools!</p>

<p>You should still try to take the SATs again just in case.
Additionally, I feel as if your EC’s are a little unfocused. How come your art classes are not translated into your other EC’s, for example?
Your writing ECs sound great though! :]</p>
