Rigor of Courses (as Freshman)

I am pretty sure most colleges don’t calculate the GPA for freshman grades but they skim the grade and the course rigor. I would like to know if I am on the right track to pretty selective schools.

Schedule:
0 Period: P.E (easy A+)
1 Period: Dual Enrollment Program College Course COUN 10 (easy A in one of them but 89.9 in one of them :[ )
2 Period: Dual Enrollment Program College Course HIST 1
3 Period: Honors Math (easy A)
4 Period: Spanish (easy A)
5 Period: AP Biology (I somehow have a really high A)
6 Period: English 1 (H) (easy A as well)

(our grades our kind of inflated so honors classes earn 5 Points towards your GPA as an A)

Thank you for all of your feedback. It means a lot since I am the first one from my family to go to high school so we have no idea what is going on.

AP Bio as a freshman is unheard of where I go to school. Hopefully, you enjoy it and good luck.

Thank you for your response.

Most colleges do in fact use your freshman grades in calculating your GPA. The UC’s are an exception.

AP Bio as a frosh?? Wow… your rigor (aka the honors in math and English as well as AP Bio) looks good to me. How many APs does your school offer? How many honors?

Since I am in the dual enrollment program, they do not recommend me to take a lot of AP’s but in sophomore year I plan to take AP Chem but No WHAP and another AP to compensate for that (since I am doing it this year in HIST). However, in Junior Year, I plan to take AP Physics, APUSH, and all other honors. While Senior year I will be taking AP Physics 2 and C, AP Lit, AP Calc, and AP Spanish, and AP Gov.

In total, I will be taking 16 dual enrollment classes, 6 honor classes, and 11 AP Classes.

I am also not too sure what I am offered as part of the dual enrollment program. They somewhat limit our choices. Regardless, I am taking the most I can while being able to do well on all of them.
