i was just wondering when Yale said they want to see a solid academic course load....do we have to have a lot of APs b/c my school doesn't offer APs until 11th grade, and since i am applying for SCEA, will it look bad that i only have 6 APs?(so far that is...wil have 14 when i grad.)

And also do they look at your HS courses for senior year even if you do SCEA?

did you say only six APs? I would imagine that the majority of applicants won't have six by the end of their junior year. Some schools don't even offer APs at all. From what I hear, all that matters is that you are making the most of the opportunities available at your school.

I go to a fairly well-standing public school and they offer about 2 APs to Juniors which must be elected in addition to the required courseload... You'll be absolutely fine as long as your counselor notes that you are taking the most difficult course load possible.
