Spanish 4 Honors(Everyone else has Spanish 3)
Algebra 3,4 Honors(This is second year Algebra)
Latin 2 Honors(We start Latin in high school with Latin 1 because Middle school only offered Spanish and French)
English 9 Honors
Modern World History(We don't have honors for this)
Earth Science Honors

Is this rigorous because this is past what the normal student has since I'm taking three 10th grade classes.

They require you to take Earth Science because it is a graduation requirement so yes it is for a freshman. I'm starting AP Biology in 10th grade.

You're definitely on the right track, that's more than my school offered in 9th grade... we only had advanced/honors in the math and sciences, not the humanities until 11th grade.

Don't worry, just make sure you can handle the classes you take. :)

Definately make sure you can handle your schedule. Taking harder and extra classes is impressive, but only if you do well in them. It's good to challenge yourself, but don't kill yourself. The transition from junior high (middle school) to high school can be rough for some people, so be cautious.

Well, I've started my transition right now. I'm going to stop gaming in August and soon I'll be deleting AIM. These are major distractions for me. I'm going to be concetrating on getting into a well-ranked college.

I can handle them because I never really concentrated about my classes when I was in Middle school. I took 3 classes at my high school last year when I was in middle school. I just need to work harder.

Everyone has friends and I hang out with the preppy ones. I kind of feel bad because I'm not hanging out with any of them anymore because I'm going all academic.

My class's val and sal have huge social lives. They hang out with friends all the time - they go to the movies, party, go out to eat, the works. I guess some people are just better at being able to balance a healthy lifestyle.

Why do you think I spending time? I'm probally the only one in my grade that knows about CC. They don't anything about High School yet and the system so I have a large head start. I haven't tried in school for my previous schools because they didn't affect where i go for college but I still did well. I'm also the only kid with three Sophmore based classes.

I have a large social life, I know practically everyone in the school and they know me. I just won't hang out with a lot of people. I'll hang out with some people, just not as many people.

If you barely hang out with people, than its doubtful that you'll be class president. I dont think you need to take these drastic measures to be valedictorian.

Not Class president, School president. I know many people and I'm already friends with them. They'd rather pick someone they know and like over a kid that is alien to them. I'm still going to maintain a social life just not as large as it used to be. That doesn't mean my social life is going to be small it could still be big. I'll still talk and hang out with people at school which is the best way for a president to be elected.
