I recently signed up for my sophomore classes they include
English 10 Honors
Algebra 2 Honors
Chemistry 2 Honors (semester class)
Physics 2 Honors (semester class)
Chinese 3
Debate
World History (only history class given *no honors)
Biology (required)

I Chose not to take AP comp science possibly avaliable (not given the current school year due to low enrollment)

Planning to self study AP euro, world history, and human geography for sophomore year

Will taking debate over AP comp science hurt my chances at top schools that look for the most rigorous schedule and such?

...Well, if it's not given that particular year, that should be explained somewhere, no?

You're taking, as far as I can tell, every honors class available to you and self-studying for three APs. How much more rigorous can you get? There's nothing wrong with your schedule, I promise.

My soph year was less rigorous (2 honors, school did not give me APCS because it conflicted with PE -__-)...I ended up taking APCS junior year instead. MIT didn't seem to care.

salamander - Sorry for being not very clear I meant: for the current school year there is no AP comp sci but it may become avaliable if enough people choose to take it. Thanks for feedback

diffyq- 2 honor classes with MIT sweet I'm sold haha, thank you for the great feedback

Adcoms will consider your schedule's rigor as compared to the courses offered at your school. What may be rigorous at one school may be average at another; as such, we cannot really help you too much. Just take the toughest courseload available to you.

I don't think one class will hurt, but if you consistently opt out of hardcore classes it probably doesn't look too good.

For the record: 2 honors soph year is the norm for top students at my school, as most people don't skip classes or take APCS / Music Theory. Oh, and I also didn't take APUSH junior year, but then I was taking 4 other APs so that probably made up for it.

I guess as long as you enjoy what you're taking, it'll be fine. Don't try to overload yourself with busywork if you have a lot of activities that you're extremely dedicated to.
