APUSH
AP Lang & Comp.
AP Psych (or AP Bio?)
H Spanish 4 (highest I can take this yr)
H PreCalc (what all H's/AP kids take, unless they skipped a class one year)
H Chem (I wasn't in H science freshman yr, so I should've taken it this year)

Would this schedule be considered rigorous? (I'm going to be a junior.)

Oh and also, this will be my first year taking AP's..they're only offered to juniors & seniors at my school.

I think it seems pretty rigorous. The “normal” rigorous schedule for juniors in my school is 3 but to look REALLY impressive I would choose AP Bio over psych, although with chem it may get overwhelming but I know a sophomore or two in my school who have done it so it’s DEFINITELY doable.

Sorry for the confusion; all schools are different…
AP Spanish is only offered to seniors at my school. I have to take H Spanish 4. H precalc is what all juniors take, with the exception of 1 or 2 Asian math geniuses.

i know a few people who are currently taking AP bio and AP chem at the same time… it’s like suicide, but then again my school’s science department is really good, so difficulty may be different at your school. but if you truly like those subjects, and are not just doing it for college, go for it.

I wouldn’t be taking AP Chem - I’ll be taking H Chem…Would that still be suicide? I’m honestly not sure if I like science. I mean, I’m obsessed with environmental-related topics, but the only science I’ve done is taking notes on terms and doing elementary-school level labs.

If the schedule is made up of classes that you know will challenge you, then it should be quite “rigorous” for you.
However in the point of view of someone on CC, I think that a lot of AP classes are good, so do as much as you can while getting 4s and 5s on the tests.

Hmm… well are you naturally good at science? I’m good with ecological/environmental science, but not with formulas, steps of cycles… stuff like that.
