i got a ringtone a couple of months ago but i feel that i am being charged for the ringtone every month. when u have a ringtone on ur phone is it a one time pay or do u pay every month?

It should only be a one time fee. Check into getting a USB data cable for your phone. This accompanied with a program called "BitPim" can make your own ringtones. I have over 45 ringtones, mostly music tones, for my cell phone and it is pretty sweet.

yeah but i have a phone that doesnt have usb plug. so i cant connect to the computer. i have the nokia 6101.

One end plugs into your phone and the other one plugs into the USB port on your computer. Very few phones have USB ports, its all in the cable like this one found on EBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/CA-42-USB-DATA-CABLE-for-NOKIA-6101-6020-6019i-5140_W0QQitemZ5866033517QQcategoryZ20366QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

^oh thanks!

It depends what type of tone you have. Like I bought a ringback tone, and the cost was 1.99 but there's also a .99 cent subscription fee per month. Some ringtones may have something similar.

I make my own ringtones. I use funformobile.com to send them to my phone... and voila, no charge! (My plan includes unlimited PIX messages.)

If you got it from one of those places that advertises on TV or in magazines about giving you "free" ringtone, you are probably being charged every month...

i <3 silent mode.

i </3 hearing peoples ringtones.
