RISD acceptance/scholarship?

Hello!

So I recently received a letter from the Rhode Island School of Design that stated the financial aid award I had received from them based on my financial aid application. However, I’m not sure if I’ve been officially accepted because I never received an official acceptance letter. I am also unsure as to if this scholarship is only contingent on my financial aid application (without my portfolio). Can I receive any more money from them based on my portfolio itself, or is this the scholarship I’m getting from them based on both merit and financial aid?

Wow that is confusing. Did you apply Early Decision? Our experience (Ds a sophomore there) was that the financial aid /scholarship info came with the acceptance letter. I’d go ahead and call the admissions office and ask for follow-up information.
