I've recently been accepted to the architecture program at RISD and Carnegie Mellon and am having trouble deciding between the two. Ive looked over both their programs and courses, and they are both strong. However, i don't know if one is better for job placement or education, or whatever.

Any advice would be nice.

FYI: I also was accepted to Pratt with scholarship, which might also be a viable option

did you also get a scholarship from risd?
are you financially needy?

as someone who has attended art school, and found myself dissapointed with the lack of education I was receiving(primarily in realizing that i prefered a more broad education instead of such a PRE-Professional one) i’ll recommend you to choose Carnegie. If you end up changing your mind about Architecture at least you’ll have an overall institution who is well known for its majors

No, i did not receive any scholarship from Carnegie Mellon or RISD, however, i am able to take a bit of the financial plunge for the better schools.
