Hi, I am a high school senior trying to make a decision between attending RISD and Pratt to major in Photography. I visited both schools over the past weekend. So far, my pros for going to RISD would be the incredible reputation (which would look great on a resume to help get my foot in the door), the well-rounded art education (plus the liberal arts courses), and the fact that they will teach me more critical thinking.

However, I really preferred Pratt's photo program over RISD's (it is larger and seemed to have nicer facilities), as well as the location (right in the city for internships). Also at Pratt I got the feeling more that I could see myself living there. I'm not sure which school's advantages are going to be better for the career I am trying to go into, which is fashion photography. Both schools are going to wind up costing about the same amount. Any thoughts or help with my decision would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I also heard that RISD's scholarships are not guaranteed for all four years - is this true? Where could I look to find out more about this? Thanks!
