Rising Freshman in College - Opportunities?

<p>I've been browsing through the MANY opportunities presented on this board (a definitely wealth of information and resources, to say the least), but I find that most opportunities for summer internships/jobs are either for high school students (rising sophomores, juniors or seniors in high school) or students who have completed at least one year of college.</p>

<p>I was wondering if anyone knew of opportunities for a senior who just graduated high school and is starting college in the fall?</p>

<p>I know I should be spending this summer relaxing, but my family is traveling at the beginning and the ends of the summer and I've also 'graduated' from the volunteering I usually do during the summers. I want something substantial to do.</p>
