Rising Senior, Chance me please!!

Thank you in advance guys; this is practically everything with perhaps an EC or two I might add later. The schools I'm looking at the most are UCLA (1st), UCSD, UC Berkeley, Brown, Cornell, and GIT. Any recommendations to other schools that seem like a great match would be appreciated as well. Also, any recommendations to improve my resume are welcome as well.

Academic GPA

1st sem soph= 3.6<------- had reconstructive spine surgery: I was out a month, first day back it was finals day (so I was high on PKs for the duration of the week and my tests), and on top of that my math teacher was fired for sexual harassment, so I had a very obscure and frustrating situation here.

2nd sem soph= 4.167
1st sem jun= 4.67
2nd sem jun= 5.0

Overall= 4.36

UW GPA= 3.84

SAT Subject test= I'm going to take Bio, Math 2, and perhaps something else in Nov or Oct ( I want to major in Biochemistry)

SAT; 2120 (700 math, 700 CR, 720 Writing) [might take this again in October, I know I can get a higher math score]

No ACT [ contemplating whether I should take it or not ]

ECs:

about 500 hours CS [ hospital, library, and whatnot]

founded Middle Eastern club frosh year
member of like 4 different clubs (no officer)
high brown belt in karate (need another year for black, no way I can do it beforehand)

college essay= revolve around my life-changing experience with surgery [inspired me to work in the medical field, volunteer at the hospital, made me more academically oriented as opposed to my previous "more athletic" state of mind.

First of all I encourage you to try the ACT, (some people do better on different types of tests). I’d guess that you’ll certainly be admitted to all of the University of California campuses (except berkely, I’d say probable but not certain) especially if you’re a california native, You’ll almost certainly get into Georgia Tech and I’ll give you a 60-40 chance at both Cornell and Brown. I think the story of how you had the injury and then volunteered at the hospital definitely makes you stand out. Good luck

thanks for the reply, anybody have any other college recommendations? should I even consider wasting time for application to CMU?
