I would REALLY appreciate any opinions on how I am doing. I am a current junior at a very competitive public school and senior year is coming up quick! I am starting to think I will apply as undeclared but further down the line I know I want to major in something biology related, just not biochemistry!

Stats:
SAT I: 2020
SAT IIs: US HIST 660..LIT 650..BIO 630. I did not study for these and plan on retaking them in the fall and doing very well on them (most likely middle 700's). Also my school alternates between AP Biology and AP Chemistry, so for not reading a thing about biology in two and a half years I know after studying and taking AP Biology next year I can get the high 700's or an 800.
ACT: Estimated somewhere in the 30's.
GPA (UW, W): 3.86, 4.28 (Not with this current semester factored in so it will go up a bit and add in 2 future CC summer courses)

6th class I am not sure yet.
*I have to drop AP Economics and AP Spanish due to scheduling conflicts with AP Biology and IDEA HumanE. It would be important to note this on my application, right? Does anyone have any ideas that I could fill that 6th class up with? Such as another AP or is that rigorous enough for these schools...?

ECs:
1.Softball:(Captain 2 years) Rec, Varsity, and Club teams for 8+ years and team captain for 2 years. Gave me my work ethic and shaped me more than almost anything except for my essay topic below.
2.Tennis: 7 years of playing and JV for 2 years but had to choose between varsity softball and tennis so I picked softball because it is a huge part of me. Awards: Most Improved freshman year and sophomore year Eagle Claw Award.
3.National Honor Society:(Elected secretary 2 years) The first year our school has had one and I excelled in advertising it with adding over a 100 members. We organized a very successful trip to visit UCLA so next fall we are going to UCB and possibly Stanford.
4. Future Physicians of America(Founder and President): I am very passionate about this! Mainly for educating students on how to get on the right track to med school and bringing in various guest speakers, fundraising for cancer, mental illnesses etc, and lastly touring hospitals and other locations related to medical field.
5. Habitat for Humanity(President): New club next year that will collaborate with Cal Poly Slo's chapter to raise money to build houses for the homeless. We will be doing many fun projects and working with middle and elementary schools to extend our influence and get more students involved.

Essays (subject and responses): **UC statements
1. The "My World" Prompt: About how my life's entwinement with ENTs has made me want to pursue a career as one. I had many insecurities as a child with my hearing as I had ear problems up until this past fall when I visited the House Ear Institute and underwent surgery to fix my issues. The expereince I had with my doctors was life changing and I am forever grateful for them. Also I had a horrible accident in softball last year that forced me to get eye surgery and that has shaped me as a person tremendously as well. I have had a lot of medical experience from a patient's point of view and want to provide for my patients first hand experience that my doctor's could not.
2. My experience running our school's first National Honor Society as it was my first position that really helped me make an impact on my school. The president is an infamous and quirky character at my school who is from Bangladesh. He has worked so hard to come to America and even though most students bully him he has unexpectedly become one of my closest friends. My experience watching his work ethic and working alongside him has affected me greatly and makes me want to leave my mark at my school like he has. In addition we took a trip to a college campus and I mention how the tour guides' enthusiasm and passion for their school makes me want to be able to help other students wherever I go to school.
The feedback I have gotten on my essays is that they are very good, but I still have plenty of time to write different ones. These are my initial ideas.
