I've coaxed my parents into letting me go away for an academic program this summer. I've started to look into some options, but I'm not really sure where to start. I think my problem stems from the fact that I'm interested in everything - so some type of a broad, liberal-arts type thing might be ideal. I'm a girl; science is good, math too - although I don't think I'm MathCamp caliber. I also speak pretty good Spanish for my level (Spanish II), and I'd love to learn another language. Any type of writing program would be great too - I'm hoping to apply to the Interlochen program in a few years. I'm not sure where I'm headed career-wise, but I'm interested in psychology and library science. I'm also considering trying to do something with a local college. As far as distance, East Coast is ideal. I live in New York (not the city).

Three or four weeks is the ideal - I'm a CIT at my Girl Scout camp, and I'm going to integrate that into receiving my Gold Award, so I need to be there for a few weeks. I also have a pretty pressing school committment in mid-August that I can't miss. I did CTY and SET, so I'm eligible for all those programs.

Like I said, I'm like a kid in a candy shop as far as academics: Oooh! Interesting! So, I'd appreciate any advice, because I'm so excited about having this kind of academic experience this summer.
