Soooo...I'm an incoming freshman and I just got my second semester senior report card. I got 2 A's, 3 B's, and a D. First semester senior year, I got 3 A's and 3 B's. The D this time was in math. Should I call the Office of Admissions to explain or just not bother? Thanks.

I'd call and let them know for a few reasons. First, they're going to find out anyway. Second, you're going to be sweating all summer long until you find out what will happen to you. Third, you're going to have a better shot at finding an alternative should the worst happen. Please let us know how things turned out.

Khmun has given good advice.

What is your major, Pedestal? If the math class was not required for your major, you may be OK.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I've taken your advice and decided to contact my regional admissions officer. Since I can never reach her by phone, I've sent an email. Thanks for the advice and I'll get back to you.

what about a D in environmental studies, is it worth calling in then?

You guys should be fine... but I would call/email just to make sure.
