Would it be a risky or good idea to write an essay on how a love for skiing and skiing data/ statistics led to a passion for stocks?
How is that risky?
@bodangles I’m worried about any “negative” connotations about writing about stocks. Am I just overthinking this? I really do devote a lot of time to research.
Writing an essay that shows your personality is important. And hopefully it shows personality traits that make them want you on campus.
Right. There’s nothing inherently risky about most topics; it’s what you choose to put into the essay that determines its value.
But be sure to answer the prompt.
What’s risky about stocks? You think the school doesn’t own any in their endowment investments?
