In addition, UC has one of the first snd foremost coop programs in the USA. For example, for design, they have a 1 and one half year PAID coop program for all design majors. RIT has coop too EXCEPT for their school of imaging arts, which graphic and new media design is houses. The reason for making this optional is that they don't have that many coops; and thus, they can't guarantee a coop for all students, unlike that of Cincinnati.

Admittedly, in most other undergrad majors, RIT is, in my opinion superior to Cincinnati. In fact, Cincinnati is really a "third tier" school overall. However, the School of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning at UC is well known and has some great rankings.
