General Comments:**

I applied RD so I have a while to wait but where are all the ED applicants?

i applied RD and got my decision today. Im from southern california

Wow that’s so early. How did you get your decision?

I applied as a transfer student a received my acceptance through the RIT portal yesterday

@univin2015 i got a big envelope in the mail!

@glassjar8 and @tucker87 thanks and congrats to you both. I know transfer is rolling admissions but wasn’t expecting RD for first year freshmen out this early…

Does rit use regular mail or express mail to send acceptances? i applied RD and got accepted four days ago but i didnt receive my envelope. Maybe it would take longer since i am an international student

I wonder why decisions seem to be earlier for international applicants and transfers as opposed to RD applicants as freshman …daughter is waiting to hear from NTID

accepted rd (international student)

Anyone that applied as a freshman RD hearing anything yet ? Emails ? Portal changes ? Envelopes in the mailbox ?

@lje62 I just checked a few minutes ago - no change - was wondering the same. Hope they will start to go out next week.

I read in previous threads that they sent out notifications in the last few years on the 18th of February. I was hoping they would keep with that tradition…my daughter is waiting to hear

so maybe they’ll send them out snail mail today?

Just got my acceptance letter this morning.(Domestic RD)

General Comments:**

Well that is encouraging ! I guess we should watch the mailbox for the next couple of days

My son received his acceptance letter in the mail today. We live in the mid-Atlantic area. (He applied regular decision.)

My daughter received her acceptance letter today. We live in upstate NY. Does anyone know about the financial information? Do they let you know about merit aid with the letter usually? There is nothing in her letter, so maybe she hasn’t been awarded anything. Her portal doesn’t even indicate that she was accepted.

Got accepted today!
