RIT or SUNY Binghamton?

Hello all, in need of some advice again!

I’ve been accepted to RIT for Film & Animation and to Binghamton’s Watson School of Engineering with the goal of majoring in biomedical engineering. Pretty different majors!
I visited RIT in the fall and went to visit Binghamton yesterday. Honestly, I fell in love with Binghamton and could instantly picture myself there. While I loved much of RIT’s campus too, I felt at home at Bing.
The only problem is that Binghamton doesn’t have an animation major or minor, and if engineering doesn’t end up being my thing, I’m not sure what I’d major in. I’ve long had an interest in both animation, engineering, and bio research, so having some kind of art program at the school I go to is vital, which Bing does have in the form of Graphic Design & some fine arts. But RIT has animation and engineering if I so wished to transfer into engineering.
Cost isn’t much of a factor–it’s a $2-3k difference, with full tuition scholarships/aid to both.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, especially with that May 1st deadline coming up soon!

Thank you!

If you can also see yourself at RIT, I would say go there since they have majors that align with all of your interests.

If you think you are going to be an engineer, then I would go for the best school for that. If that doesn’t work out for you, then maybe at that point you transfer schools. The curriculum for each of those would be vastly different.
