I get a lot of mail from Rochester Institute of Technology. Being from Pennsylvania I have little way of knowing if they have a good reputation or if they're just one of those schools that pretends they do. I want to study Physics

My daughter wants to be a bio major (not pre-med; she wants to do research, probably in genetics) and she is applying there. She attended an overnight admissions event there last summer and durinng the parents’ portion, I attended a workshop with all the department heads at the College of Science. I was very impressed. The departments are much smaller than the tech-oriented programs but not were the department chairs on the ball, but they seemed to focus strongly on outcomes, a product of their being in an Institute of Technology.

Why don’t you post to the RIT forum here:
[Rochester Institute of Technology - College Confidential](Rochester Institute of Technology - College Confidential Forums)
It hasn’t been active lately but there are parents of RIT students who are active on College Confidential.

RIT is especially strong in astrophysics and areas related to imaging sciences.
