<p>Assuming both are of equal cost, which school do you think I should choose for Electrical Engineering based upon the factors of academic excellence, university prestige, social life, weather (I'm from Central America) internships and future jobs?</p>
<p>I have to decide before the first of May and really don't know what to choose. It is so hard by being an international students to make these hard decisions practically blind.</p>
<p>Rochester winters are severe with much snow, wind, rain and cloudy weather. However, RIT is an excellent school that has 97 % of it’s graduates employed 6 months after graduation. They also are one of four universities in the nation that offers cooperative education ( co-op) a paid job ( internship). I can’t really comment on Hofstra. Good luck with your decision!</p>
