<p>I got recently accepted to RIT,Drexel,UIUC for a course in New media.The course has more to do with interactive design,web development,mobile development.</p>
<p>Right now RIT is my top choice because of its co-op.</p>
<p>How would you say the schools compare in this PARTICULAR area ?</p>
<p>I’ve heard good things about UIUC media (world ranked I believe)
Depends on where you want to work after Grad though</p>
<p>Drexel is also a major co-op school, fwiw. I don’t know enough about the new media program to comment, but of the big northeast co-op schools my son preferred RIT to Drexel and Northeastern for game development (from the programming end).</p>
<p>@mathmomvt - Is your son attending RIT (and for game programming)? Did you look into Becker, Champlain, RPI or WPI by chance? DS’14 wants to major in Video Game Programming so I would love to hear about any info you have regarding schools with Video Game Programming.</p>
