RIT vs UTD vs UTA for Undergraduate in Computer Science?

Is RIT good for undergraduate Computer Science? How does it rank against top CS schools like UCB, UT Austin, UIUC? In terms of Jobs, Education, etc?

Among the 3 schools mentioned which option would be the smartest one to take? UTA is the cheapest among them while UTD is 8K cheaper than RIT.

I would also like to know how much can an international student, studying CS, earn in a year’s Co-Op at RIT?

UTA = UT Austin? In terms of CS and general education, that sounds like the best deal by far. Cheapest, arguably the best program listed. Any reasons you’d prefer the others over it?

If you’re really big on co-op, RIT could make sense so long as you aren’t taking out loans for it. Co-op pay for CS will range from $20-30 an hour with some outliers way above at top companies. So for a full year working, that comes out to 50K or so, before taxes and living costs mind you. In general, I would say expecting to net 5K per 4-month co-op after all that, so not a big factor in getting the price down if that is a concern.

No, I meant UT Arlington I received close to full tuition scholarship from there. I pm’ed you please check your inbox.

@Kurt1997 All are great choices. Don’t make decisions solely on rankings, you’ll regret it. Visit each school and the one you see yourself at the most is the one for you. There are successful CS graduates from all three schools. Follow your heart or what’s most important to you … if it’s being debt free UT Arlington is the obvious choice. Being debt free is a great feeling.
