<p>I've seen this post regarding other colleges, which made me wonder...who is Cornell's sports rival?</p>

<p>I thought it was Harvard for hockey??? Don't they throw fish on the ice at hockey games vs. Harvard or something??????</p>

<p>yes ... it is Harvard vs Cornell in hockey ... the two programs have been the best in the IVYies for 30 years. I went to the Harvard-Cornell game at Harvard a couple weeks ago and there were more Cornellies in the stands than Haaarvaard types!</p>

<p>worthless trivia ... in the move Love Story Ryan O'Neal plays hockey for Harvard and gets into a fight while playing ... that game is a Harvard - Cornell game!</p>

<p>The weekend Harvard plays Yale in what's referred to as "The Game" in football, Cornell plays Penn, which is generally considered Cornell's rival in football.</p>

<p>There's an old song about this called "Hairy-Chested Men":</p>

<p>My dad said they sang that in Alpha Sigma Phi @ CU back in '69...He couldnt remember it all but he knew the rhyming verses. It was so depressing to hear him belting it out with pride at age 50 something...</p>
