<p>The format of Kaplan 2400:</p>
<p>The Kaplan 2400 book goes through strategies and then example questions on which you can apply the strategies. </p>
<p>One of Kaplan’s strategies is to read the 1st third of a boring CR passage, then read the first sentence of each paragraph that’s left, and then proceed directly to the questions. After the strategy you are presented with a passage and a few questions. </p>
<p>I really like the writing section of the Kaplan 2400 book. I think it’s better than the Barron’s 2400 book. Here’s the format:</p>
<p>Example sentence
Why it’s hard: an explanation of what makes the sentence tricky - e.g. “atypical correction”
Key strategy: the corrected version
Explanation of correct answer</p>
