Hey guys! I'm new to this board! I applied RD to Duke and I'm wondering how hard it is to win those Robertson scholarships. I won't be getting much need-based aid, so I really would like to get some money somewhere. Does anyone know? I know they want a lot of community service. I'm from TX and I'm on the board for this youth leaders thing for middle-school students in my city. It's like me and some adults ... and though I have other leadership in being leader of Model UN and newspaper editor. How hard are Duke scholarships (I'm 1590/800/790/790)? What does it take?

It's hard to predict Duke scholarships, especially the Robertson because you're dealing with two schools. Did you apply at UNC? More importantly, did you complete the Robertson supplement in December?

I didn't apply to UNC, but I did fill out the supplement.

These may help. You seem to have as good a chance as anyone. Turning in the supplement should helpo you.

Thanks a bunch! I was wondering if anyone knew any RS'es, because though I've done the leadership thing, I've never volunteered or anything and it's not listed at the top of my most meaningful activities.
