Is the Robertson easier to get as an international student (I assume so because not many would apply for it)?

Do I get automatically considered for it if I applied ED? (Doesn't Duke say that they will consider you for all available scholarships if your just apply)

The Robertson Scholarship is a seperate application I believe. I strongly encourage you to apply, it’s an amazing opportunity (not to mention the fact your parents will love you even more for attending college on a full ride).
There a number of international students in the program and the international aspect of your application might highlight your candidacy but bear in mind that you will be competing with other extremely strong US applications.

The deadline for that app is 1 Dec 2011. I’d advise you to “get on that ****” because I am still finishing mine, and I started three weeks ago. It has three essays and two recommendations—get those recommendations out QUICK–they take a while.

Just wanted to clear this up. Does this statement mean that for me the Robertson is binding "All candidates who are short listed for interview must be prepared (as a result of full prior discussion with their parents or guardians) to accept a scholarship if it is offered to them. " ?? So if I got into say Princeton or another school I’d have to accept the Robertson?

It sure sounds like you are bound to it, so you need to make sure that you want to attend Duke or UNC Chapel Hill of you are offered the Robertson.
