Robotics & Prosthetics engineering

I had an earlier post of this, but put it on the wrong thread so I decided to post it on here.

  • I’m looking into creating prosthetics for amputees, but robotic prosthetics that give the user the ability to move. Or make exoskeletons that can move paraplegics. My only problem is that I want to know what I should major in to achieve these goals and some schools that can help me achieve this goal.

Major in ME, EE, or CSE. Look for schools with good robotics programs or whose faculty have produced/are researching exoskeletons, like MIT, Berkeley, CMU, etc. Then try to get involved in projects or research with professors who are working on those things.
