hey, i was accepted to UCSD and USC for engineering and i wasnt sure which to choose. I'm aware that USC costs 2x or more than UCSD, but academic wise, which ones is better in engineeing. also which one has a better atmosphere, parties, easier work-load, and other good stuff. i might be considering going to UCSD for four years and go to USC for graduate school. please help me out! thank you!

they are about the same level of engineering.

and I would suggest u go to ucsd for undergrad and usc for grad

^ auscguy is right. USC really has extremely strong grad. program.

isn't sc more of a liberal arts school?

USC is good at AI/Robotics, probably second to CMU in the nation. Of course those top notch CS departments (MIT, Stanford, Berkeley) are all good, but AI/Robotics is where USC is strong.

I would suggest you go to UCSD for undergrad. But if you are thinking of a balanced college life, USC should have your consideration.

BTW there is no easier work-load anywhere as long as you want to achieve something.
