**Rochester 2019 RD Discussion Thread!**

@throwaway121 there’s a small batch of about 100 coming out early next week.

Thanks, but with how my decisions have gone today, I’d rather not get my hopes up on this one.

I didn’t get any emails, nothing shows up on the portal, so I think I also get denied. It’s just really frustrating. I really like University of Rochester and it’s really disappointing that I didn’t get in to the schools I really want to go.

Accepted! Anyone know if scholarships/grants/FA come out with it? Or do we have to wait?

@maniactango It takes 7-10 days after admission for a financial aid package to be sent by email.

The personalized acceptance letter was a very nice touch.

Um so I am an international student and I got in a few weeks ago. I got the packet as well, but I realized just now that nothing on the packet/myroc shows my major. Does this mean it’s undecided?

ACCEPTED!! Love the personalized touch

We were at Accepted Students Day today, what a fabulous experience  Just updating admission stats: this year they admitted 29%, per admissions office. They said it’s an all time low percentage, FWIW.

29%!? Wow, that’s crazy! I have no idea how I got in if the admission rate is that low, lol. My GPA is quite low for Rochester, but I think I got admitted because I indicated it as my first choice on multiple occassions, including the interview. Just, like, wow haha. I’m still in shock.

That’s crazy, and what a jump down from last year’s 38% rate!

hey @bamonty‌ , is the accepted Students Day also the 2019 Experience as seen on the portal? If so, how was it? What did they do there?

I’m an international student, and nothing shows up on my portal. The top right section of the website is completely blank, and i haven’t received an email or mail. Does this mean I was rejected?

@Yooh12 SAME HERE! They tweeted that there is a small number of decisions going out next week, and we should hear by April 1st. Just wait a bit longer I guess. All good things come to those who waits!

Got into URoc and UNC this morning~ I just love URoc’s acceptance letter.

@maniactango yes it was the 2019 Experience. They had great programming/panels for parents and students…day well spent.
