I applied to Rochester EN, and on the status check website it says that a first and a second reader have reviewed my credentials, and a committee is now reviewing the decision. Does this mean that I will know soon?

Any concern if an EN application is still with the first reader?

I know that EN notification is about Feb. 15th, but I was wondering if the committee review thing meant that I might know sooner…

The standard progression for your application review at the University of Rochester is as follows:

First Reader —> Second Reader —> Committee Review —> Decision Letter Sent

If you are an EN applicant, your application will sit in Committee Review until February 15th. Unfortunately you will not hear your decision any sooner. Do not be concerned if your EN application is still with the first reader. All Admissions Counselors read at different paces, so while some students might still be sitting in the First Reader’s Queue, others might already find their application in Committee Review. This is nothing to stress about.

Just saving the best for last, right??? ;)

Any chance any ed2 decisions have been mailed out before the holiday?

To my knowledge, no ED II letters have been mailed yet. If you are curious about your ED II letter, please give us a call at 585-275-3221 or toll free at 888-822-2256.

With the holidays this week, I’m just not sure that we’ll have the staff available to get many letters out.
