Hello, I got admissions from University of Rochester and NYU, but I'm still trying to figure out which one is the right place for me. Tomorrow is the deadline for Rochester which means I have to send a $600 deposit. Can anyone please give me some advice on which school should I go to?

I'm currently a sophomore, and major is Econ. But maybe I will change my major to Math or Physics. I prefer Rochester's small campus and low prof-student ratio, however, NYU seems more prestigious than Rochester and NYC is definitely much more attractive than the city of Rochester.

Also, I will go to graduate school after college, which one is better in terms of applying for graduate school?

i guess for econ nyu would be better, id be torn too though…

NYU = no campus, just another face in the crowd, i heard youre treated like just a number, and no real school feel… on the other hand, prestige, opportunities, independence, NYC! :)

UofR = great campus, small feel but a great school, heard that its a really great community, school spirit and feel is great, + good if you change your major… although, maybe not as prestigious or well known, opportunities in different things, rochester < NYC…

personally, id probably go with UofR, i want college to feel like college, i doubt NYU can do that as wel as UofR :)

congrats on both your acceptances! the choice is yours GOOD LUCK!
