I just noticed that Adam Robinson, the author of Rocket Review Revolution SAT, is also the co-author of PR SAT 2011 edition.

So I'm wondering is PR SAT 2011 Edition fairly similar to the contents of the amazing Rocket Review?

Thanxx

Probably not. I don’t have the RR but from what I hear, PR isn’t that great but RR is really good for critical reading. Not sure about the sections.

From what I’ve heard, Rocket Review is fantastic for the CR section. However, the Princeton Review is garbage. The only thing worthwhile is the math content review section for people who score 600 or below, if you score 700+ like me then it won’t help at all. The CR section in PR is absolutely useless, yet I have found the writing grammar rules useful.

Hopefully, I’m going to get the Rocket Review book tomorrow, so I’ll be able to provide my own insight.

PR has pretty accurate tests…
That’s about it.

@BlahBlahBlah: are you buying from a website or getting it at a local library?

@brainiac I found RR at a reasonable price. The prices on Amazon are ridiculous! Try using bookfinder.com if you wait patiently the book pops up every now and then at around $40-50. I figure I could always relist it on the price I paid and get my money back

OK, maybe I’ll try it out. I saw it on Amazon for like $200 and freaked out lol.

Oh thanxx for the site.

Blahblahblah, lemme know how good Rocket Review is.

@Dorkyelmo’s comment: PR is NOT accurate with its tests! Only use the official collegeboard BB for practice tests!

In fact, burn your PR book.

RR is good from what i hear, PR IS NOT!

You do realize there are only TEN practice tests right ^^?
Kaplan-TOOOO easy
Barron- still pretty easy ( I have no clue why, but I feel barron is too easy)
PR- medium, ehh?

Barron’s is definitely harder than PR^ :?
