Actually I'm not referring to the world renown Astrophysics program at Johns Hopkins but the film by Jeffrey Blitz Rocket Science Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes
Jeff (an Emmy winning Hollywood director) received his BA in the Writing Seminars dept and went on to get his MA also at JHU. And the Emmy goes to... Jeff Blitz, A&S '90, '91 (MA) | Johns Hopkins Alumni
Anyway my wife and I recently rented the DVD and thoroughly enjoyed it. If DS (a JHU writing sems graduate) ever made a movie it would look a lot like Rocket Science. If you dislike "non-hollywood" ending movies like A Serious Man, Being John Malkovich or Living in Oblivion you probably won't like this quirky movie about a high schooler with a severe stutter who decides to go out for the debate team. The movie takes place in New Jersey but Mr. Blitz shot it in.......Baltimore! BTW you have to wait for the final scene to find out why its titled "Rocket Science".

^^very cool. Thanks for posting this.
