RocketReviewRevolution....Reviews?

I just read the reviews on this book at Amazon..and they for the most part sound awesome...and I guess that bugs me somewhat. Most are very well written and have a similar sound to them..which is not normal for reviews.
And many of the reviewers have only reviewed that particular book which is also odd.

So what do you all think of RocketReviewRevolution..is it good?

I'll have it in my hands tomorrow. Do not fret. You shall get a review.

I look forward to your review. Thanks!

I've had it in my "hand" for about 3 weeks now :)

It's so good that i'm almost done. Read the whole book -- every page of it.

I have about 20+ SAT books and trust me, RocketReview is THE BEST. 343 Word List WILL SHOW UP, covers ALL the grammar rules you need, and the strategies are awesome and don't waste your time (cough Kaplans .. etc.). Math is so-so but I bought it for Writing/CR.

Furthermore, the online resources are great. Rocketscore may be a BIT inaccurate but I would say it's more than great because it's free. AND, what company would have OMNIPROCTOR -- which IMITATES classroom and outdoor sounds while a virtual proctor is timing you? This is too good for practicing concentration and the "real testing conditions" that we are all so concerned about. No book is as personal and down-to-earth as RocketReview. Adam really cares about each student and thoroughly updates the site everytime he learns something new. (email him if you have any concerns). This guy really knows what he's talking about.

Perhaps the only flaws are the not-as-good-as CR/W math section and that RocketScore 1.0 can only grade pre-set prompts. However, the word is that Adam is working on an ANY-PROMPT RocketScore.

I would give the product a 94 out of 100.

Go to www.half.com to purchase to book. While the retail price is 29.99, I got mine for 10.99 at half.com

GREAT, GREAT purchase.

I've had the book for a few weeks and so far it's awesome! Much better than PR, Barrons and Kaplan, also much less boring because you feel like the book is talking to directly to you. Very motivating, and their strategies do actually work. The author takes you step by step through everything and it's as spoon fed as it can get. I don't know about it's software as I havent tried it yet. 343 word list is great, and they're formatted so you can learn easily. Don't know about their math, but Writing is definitely great. My essay score boosted to 10s and 11's from 8's and 9's.

Definitely recommended!!!

um...
I think it works if you have an average starting score... such as in the 1600-1900s.. (dunno what's average). However, I started out with a 2100 and it hasn't budged since i got this book. If you are just starting out, this book is great for strategies and is a great motivator. Adam talks to u like a real person and he acts like a coach throughout the book. However it doesn't go enough in depth such as the Barron's SAT I book.

actually I get 2150-2300 on model tests and it has helped me move up
10-20 per section (not including math) which is amazing

I heard that it was really good for Critical Reading. Other than that, I'm not too sure.

Can anyone else post their score improvements for each section?

actually RRR's best is writing. CR is superb but not as much.

math is average.

does any one think the 2005-2006 version is going to be much better?

is it worth spending an extra $10 for the new one?

certainly the new version shouldnt have as many typos (if any at all) as the old version.

yea, rocketscore revo. is definitely worth the money. the word list is concise and not too huge, and the strategies are sumwhat useful. personally, i dunno about the math section. i just skipped over that. =D, but the rest of the book is quite useful.

listen to me closely

The RR is an AWESOME book. It brought up my writing score 100 points in literally, one week. 640-740

is this book better than grammatix
