So in an effort to help my D build a balanced school list, I'm looking hard for a "hidden gem." She has about 20 schools on her list that I'm pretty sure the majority of MT students will be applying for. Now to try and find info on the smaller schools. Does anyone have any experience with this school? It is an auditioned BFA, very small, with some (to me) very attractive merit awards available to incoming students. I can't find much on their website, and flying out for an audition only to find it is not really what she's looking for will be an additional expense in an upcoming year which I already expect will be very expensive, especially since we just returned this weekend from visiting a potential safety school that my D has now completely ruled out. So. Trying it dig up info, any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

I know the school is outside of Chicago. You have to audiiton on campus, and can audition the weekend of Unifieds. They send a bus for you. D didn’t get to audition for them because our flight was cancelled. Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa has a good audition BFA musical theatre school ,and come to Chicago Unifieds as well. D was accepted there this year.
