<p>“Michael Weinberg has compiled such a remarkable academic record in his tenure at Suffern High that it would make a college admissions officer blush.</p>

<p>“Despite taking a strenuous load of advanced-placement courses, the Princeton-bound Weinberg holds an outstanding grade-point average of 4.26 - first in his graduating class.</p>

<p>“It might seem as if he has spent his time focusing only on his studies, but The Journal News' Rockland Scholar-Athlete of the Week also has carved out quite a list of accomplishments on the tennis court. Weinberg, a two-time Journal News all-county selection, has developed into one of the elite first singles players in Section 1.</p>
