Community service: over 400 hours. Taught math and English in some poor local township school in South Africa, took care of cerebral palsy patients, recycling etc

Your stats, please

SAT I: 800V, 780M
SAT II: 800 Writing, 800 Math IIC, 790 Chemistry
GPA: 4.0 UW; Rank: Top 5%

Community Service:
Appx. 350 hours - volunteering a litle bit in lots of random places, including urban tutoring, museum, supply drives for the poor, hospital, local YMCA.

I don't have any awesome international service involvement, but I did a decent amount in the US while still getting good grades/scores. Most of my volunteering was very spread out (lots of activities, with a little bit of involvement per activity). Will this hurt me?

Oh yeah my rank is 8 of 230 (top 4%), you got very impressive stats.

I honestly don't think I have a chance at the scholarship. I am an international applicant from SA.
