Just a question about the book: "Rogawski Multivariable Calculus"

There's apparently two versions?

"Multivariable Calculus: Early Transcendentals"

and

"Multivariable Calculus (Paper)"

Are they the same or are they different?

They’re different. Don’t get the early transcendentals one.

oh ok thanks! Amazon tricks people…Then it’s probably better just to order it from the ucla store right?

I’d say as long as it’s not a book that you need the UCLA edition of, get it elsewhere. If amazon doesn’t have it, try half or fb marketplace?

And the Stewart book for math 32A is not the early transcendentals one either, right? Thanks.

it wasnt the early transcendentals one last year.

Hm…what about the publishing date? Does that make a difference? on half, they are 2007, on the UCLA textbook store, they have it as 2008?

he sent out an email about textbooks today

If the publishing date is wrong it may not be the right edition, meaning the problems in the book will be somewhat different.
