Rolling admission vs early action?

<p>I am currently filling out Umich's common app, and i noticed that there was an option for rolling admission with a deadline on 2/1 and early action which is due 11/1. if i apply rolling around the same time that the early app is due will i find out about my decision sooner?</p>

<p>No. The RD (rolling admission) decisions don’t start arriving until all of the Early Action decisions are in.</p>

<p>Actually entenduintransit, if your rolling admissions application is complete by November 1, you should theoretically get a response around December 20.</p>

<p>Having a rolling admissions deadline in February doesn’t make any sense.</p>

<p>And UMich doesn’t list a rolling admission deadline with any date:</p>
