Rolling admission?

I have applied ED to Brown, and it has been made more than crystal clear that if I apply to Brown ED, I MAY NOT APPLY ANYWHERE ELSE EARLY ACTION OR EARLY DECISION. Got that. But what about colleges with rolling admissions? Does that count as ‘early’? Can I apply to a college with rolling admissions before I hear back from Brown?

I think so.

Call Brown. I think not.

I think rolling is fine. I know a lot of people who applied early to different schools and also applied rolling to state schools. Call Brown and ask.

ya i called brown adn they said it was fine. i was in the same situation myself.

You just have to withdraw your app/decline admission if you get into Brown.

I think I'm going to wait anyway, since the application fee would be a waste of money if I should happen to get in to Brown, and I can't afford to waste money. But thanks for the answers :)

on the other hand, waiting means fewer spots will be available when you apply.

True. The school I'm thinking of is UMichigan, and I already may have waited too long.
