Is it better to apply early to a school (i.e. September) with the SAT scores I have (which are very solid but not exceptional) when there are more spots available, or wait and retake the SAT, then apply at the beginning of November? I don't know whether to apply with the max spots available or try and beef up my scores. I am especially wondering for U-Michigan, U-Wisconsin, U-Washington, and U-Maryland (I want to try and get into the honors program at U-Wash and U-Maryland). oh, everything else on my app would be really strong, but I would be applying as an out-of-state student at all of these schools.
