Rolling admissions affect getting into major?

<p>I was wondering if the fact the UT is doing rolling admissions affects what major you can get into</p>

<p>I am already in top 7.3% so i have auto admission
but i kinda didn't send my application yet because i thought they just had... normal admissions.</p>

<p>I'm trying to apply to engineering will my chances now be lower than before for engineering?
and what about the college itself.</p>

<p>Someone in my school last year who was top 2% didn't get in because he sent his application in the day before the deadline so I'm getting really worried ]:</p>

<p>I didn’t submit my application until Thanksgiving week. Yeah it’s not the most ideal situation but it’s far from the end of the world. Which engineering major are you shooting for?</p>

<p>that’s one of the the 2 big engineering majors here. If you have a shot at getting in to any of them, it’s probably CE.</p>

<p>For the application, EE=CE=ECE</p>

<p>ME is the other program that takes a lot of students.</p>
