Hi there everyone, Thanks to those who will read and even more to those who will answer.
Good to know there is a engineering forum.. prospective Electrical Engineer here...

I was wondering what univeristies offer good engineering programs in the rolling admission modality, specially Electrical. Having in mind that most of the good engineering schools will no longer review applications for this fall semester because of their deadlines, there might be some that I can still apply to. For Example, Purdue University will review apps till MArch 1st, Do you know any other that will recieve my application around that date?

Graduation date and class rank: Dec 2012, 12/167 top 10%

There are plenty. Get the list of engineering schools from US News, find some that you like, and look up the admissions info. Narrow it down by state if anything.

Are you an international student? Your score is low for engineering. I know off the top of my head that California is done with apps, and Nevada, Arizona, and Florida schools are taking apps till April I believe.

There is nothing wrong with starting at a community college and transferring later if you don’t get in anywhere.

Your SAT Score: SAT reasoning: 1480 (I know, I know, Poor for engineering) CR 450, MAth 500 Wr 530

My comment: your actual SAT Score CR + Math = 950 and this is way too low for Purdue or any decent Engineering colleges. I am sorry but all you can try by now is applying to Comm. College only. Then after you get in, you need to maintain high college GPA about 3.3 or 3.4 cumulative and above to get into better Engineering colleges. Of course you can try with 3.0 cumulative but this is also way too low for transfers. Good Luck.

Go to the Common App website and use their SEARCH tool (Advanced search) to see what colleges you can still apply to, and you can specify engineering in the search criteria.
The results list has links to the colleges websites, but also has a lot of info on the college and admissions criteria (use the tabs).
An example is Wentworth Institute of Technology. You are unlikely to get into the more prestigious schools such as Purdue with your GPA and SAT scores.

I would look into the University of Toledo. It is rolling admission, has a strong engineering program and is reasonably priced compared to other OOS options.
