three of the colleges im applying to have rolling admissions. Is it a first come first serve process? i mean how does it exactly work? Please correct me if i am wrong but how i understand it is that i can apply before the fall and they will respond back with a an answer ASAP. It seems nice because it reduces the stress of applying since i can start and even finish these three apps in the summer.
The 3 schools are:
Berry College
Franciscan University in Steubenville Ohio
Mount St. Mary's University in Maryland

Usually with rolling admissions schools theres no ED/EA (at least all of the ones I’m looking at). The earlier you apply the better your shot is, is what they’ll tell you. Most schools have a “priority application” date, which if you’re truly interested in attending, you’ll want your app in by then. Rolling admissions though means that they’ll keep accepting applications past that date until their freshman class is filled up.

They may not look at your application until sometime in the fall when they have a selection of applicants to review. But applying to at least one match/safety rolling admissions school relieves a LOT of stress while you’re waiting to hear from everyone else in April.
