Rolling Admissions?

Does UMich still have Rolling Admissions? If so, do discussions come out based on when you apply?

Yes they do have rolling admissions. As for decisions, I have no idea, I’ve been asking the same question. I turned in my RD Application on Dec. 5 and haven’t heard back yet.

Yes, Michigan does have rolling admissions, however the time you apply does not correlate with when you will receive a decision (unless you’re EA). I applied for EA, to later find out that my application didn’t make the deadline. I received my acceptance in March.

Is it really rolling admissions? On the undergraduate admissions page I only saw Early Action and Regular Decision…

Yes but umich begins reviewing applications as they come it, unlike other schools that wait until after their deadline (or perhaps longer) to begin the process.

I thought they got rid of rolling admissions after they added EA?
so if I applied close to the deadline, does that significantly lower my chances?

The RD is rolling, i.e. no fixed date for announcement but a latest decision date.
