rolling admissions...

i don't really understand how mich does their rolling system...

i applied to two other rollings, and i heard from both of them within a week! and they were about the same size school as michigan was.

my app was complete 12/14 for lsa: i called yesterday checking my app status and she said they haven't made a decision yet.

so can someone explain the process to me?

rolling just means they begin reviewing each app when they receive it i believe. i applied 11/24. and i called and they said that they had decided on 1/20. Just be patient, it will come

Rolling admissions means they make admit decisions throughout the application season, instead of, say, waiting and sending out all the decisions on one or two dates.

How quickly you'll hear back will vary from school to school, even if they both claim to have rolling admissions. it has to do with how selective the institution is, and where you fall along the quality spectrum of applications they are receiving.
