Rolling Admissions?

Hey, so I was wondering if UMich does rolling admission...

I am only really looking for public schools with rolling admissions right now.

And, if they do, does that mean I can send in my app like in November and here in like December? Or is there like a certain start date for sending in apps?

THANKS!!!!

Well if you apply by Nov 1 your granted a admission decision by Dec 24th.

thanks coolbrezze, that’s exactly what I was hoping to hear!!!

“by” = on that date, or sometime before that?

so is it like, they see you app and go through it and once they have a decision made, you find out right after that?

I’m not sure how they do it actually, I know students ( well read on cc) that applied after certain students and have already got a response before them. So yeah I don’t know how decisions are given out but in all if you have submitted a completed application by Nov. 1 your granted to get a decision by Dec. 24th meaning you will get a response likely before Dec 24th.

I say before ( but it could be at least on Dec 24th or any date before that ) because usually when someone use the word by its usually before that period.

Example: I will be there by eleven o’clock.
Usually this means the person will be there at eleven or no later but with intentional plans of being there before eleven.

Yeah I know sounds kinda confusing.

Yeah, if you apply by November 1st, you’ll hear back by December 24th guaranteed. If you applied even earlier, you’ll hear back sooner. That’s why some people already got a decision.

When do the first non early decisions come out?? After December?

^
Not sure, I read on the thread that some regular applications have heard before the ER or at the same time, but this is what I’ve read on this forum.
